Walgreens is the largest national drugstore chain in the US. It operates over 7000 stores across all 50 US states.
- What are Register Rewards? (RR)
You will only receive Register Rewards ONCE per deal per transaction. For example if you purchase laundry detergent for $2.99 and receive a Register Reward for $2.99,...and you want to purchase 3 detergents, then you need to do 3 separate transactions,..to receive a Register Reward for each of the 3 detergents that you purchase. You will receive Register Rewards for each different item that you purchase in ONE transaction. (if the RR are offered). In one transaction, you can buy Laundry Detergent and Toothpaste, and if the RR are offered, you will receive Register Rewards for the Laundry Detergent and the Toothpaste.
Register Rewards are manufacturer coupons and you can use only one PER item. You can NOT use more manufacturer coupons, than you have items that you are purchasing. If you also have manufacturer coupons to use on items that you are purchasing you will need a "filler in order to be able to use your RR when you pay for your items.. A filler item is something really cheap (we usually just add a candy bar),..just make sure that the number of items that you are purchasing do NOT exceed the number of coupons (including RR) that you have in your hand..
Register Rewards DO NOT roll. You cannot use the Register Rewards from the Laundry Detergent to buy another Laundry Detergent (well, you can, but you will NOT receive another Register Reward) So it is best to use that Register Reward to purchase another item that is also offering Register Rewards.
If lost, Register Rewards cannot be replaced. They do expire 2 weeks from the date that you receive them. This can be a bit confusing, but you can do it,..just start slow and small.
Walgreen's also have instore coupon booklets and coupons in their insert, that comes in the newspapers each Sunday. When using these coupons, you just need one, and the register automatically deducts that cost, even if you purchase more than one of the same item. The instore booklets are usually located at the front of the store, near the entrance.
It is always a good idea to print out the Coupon Policies of each store and carry them with you..
