If you are in affected communities in the Birmingham/Jefferson County area and have lost or found a pet as a result of last night’s storms, PLEASE contact Birmingham/Jefferson County Animal Control Services at 205-591-6522. By contacting BJACS, you are greatly increasing the chances that your lost pet is found or the pet that you found will be reunited with its owner. Please remember to stay out of affected areas while first responders are there focusing on rescue efforts.
